Chairman and CEO
Larry Murray is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Global Technology Systems. Larry drives the company toward continued technology leadership and global expansion. He has over 30 years experience as a CEO in technology companies. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Army in Southeast Asia. Larry founded GTS to address the need for lighter, safer, and more economical batteries for industrial and government applications. Throughout his career, from working in a leading research laboratory, to field experience in the military, and while working in the aeronautical and space industries, he saw first-hand how limits in battery power discouraged otherwise promising technological advancements. With the increasing dependence on mobility in today’s workforce, he found a great market opportunity for the latest battery technology. Murray holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering, a Juris Doctor degree from Boston University, and a commercial pilot’s license. He is also licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
Vice President of Manufacturing and Technology
Danny Rockett leads the GTS technical team as the Vice President of Manufacturing and Technology. He has more than 30 years of battery expertise in plant management, manufacturing, engineering, product design and applications with General Electric, Energizer and Nexergy. Danny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical mechanical engineering from the University of North Carolina.
Vice President of Marketing
With over 20 years of senior sales and marketing management experience, JR has been responsible for the rapid growth of revenues for companies offering innovative technology solutions in a wide array of markets, including aerospace, education, finance, government, IT, logistics, manufacturing, medical, retail, service, transportation, and utilities. He also serves on several for-profit and non-profit advisory boards, including the Career Track Advisory Board on Entrepreneurism for Northeastern University’s D’Amore-Mckim Graduate School of Business.
A graduate of Tufts University, JR is also the founder of Jobless Warrior, an all-volunteer organization offering free career coaching and resume writing services for military veterans.
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Lou Marchany brings 20+ years of strategic business, financial leadership, and general management experience to Global Technology Systems. Lou has served in senior and executive roles with technology companies, particularly in Business-to-Business (B2B) market verticals encompassing software, services, telecommunications, medical, and mobile devices. Lou’s direct experience spans early stage ventures through large market cap public corporations. Lou holds an MBA and BS in Management from Bentley University.
Business Development Officer
Utilizing his 20+ years of technology industry experience, Eddie McCarthy drives GTS’s New Business Development efforts. Eddie is a dynamic senior executive with a broad range of global sales, financial, and operating experience coupled with an effective talent in entrepreneurial based ventures. Additionally, Eddie is experienced in developing sustainable relationships with multinational customers and suppliers. Eddie optimizes a unique blend of sales skills with his business acumen.
Mr. McCarthy earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Providence College, is a CPA (not active) and is also a private helicopter pilot.
Director Public Safety/Government Sales
Devra Kelly has been a communications innovator for over two decades. Her career has been based in Sales, Business Development, New Product Introduction and Channel Development, specializing in Public Safety and Government systems. Starting as an account manager, she worked upward to the executive level building customer satisfaction in systems markets that included multiple technologies such as Land Mobile Radio, wireless video, satellite, and IP transport backbone.
After majoring in Education at the University of Colorado, Devra pursued educational avenues to grow and enhance her career such as, GSA Contracting, Metric Teaming for Product Development, Miller Heiman, Challenger Sales, and Lean Electronics.
Director of Channel Sales
Rob brings over 20 years of Technical expertise in network hardware, software, mobility, and cloud services, via the channel. Rob is knowledgeable in top down, bottom up channel methodology and, is also certified in Karass Negotiations. He also has background in Financial Services Management and extensive experience in the Hospitality Industry. A Road Scholar, Rob has studied at various institutions in NY and MA, with honorable mention as Assistant professor of Culinary Arts at Schenectady Community College. Rob’s diverse background and infectious work ethic now serve as attributes in the Power Management Industry.
